Spring Music Festival
May 9 - 14, 2022
Jazz, classical, blues

That's a wrap on a full and successful week of world-class live music all throughout Juneau and the surrounding communities. Thank you to the audience, volunteers, donors, sponsors, board, and staff who made this Festival one to remember. Mark your calendars for September 19-24, 2022. We can't wait to do this with you again.

About
For the past 35 years, Juneau Jazz & Classics has provided high-quality performances from professional musicians from around the country, educational concerts, instructional workshops, and community engagement programs that benefit people of all ages, capabilities, and economic backgrounds.
JJ&C is excited to bring the worlds of jazz, classical and blues to our Juneau community with live performances and interaction with great artists.

You can play a pivotal role in bringing live music back to Juneau.
To ensure the success of our new Fall Festival, we need your help.
Donations support free lunchtime concerts, school visits by festival musicians (virtual or in-person), complimentary tickets through local non-profits for those in need, intensive workshops for all abilities, and more!

JJ&C places high value on partnering with musicians who can teach and inspire audiences of all ages. Our artists are selected not only for their outstanding abilities as performers but for their demonstrated skills and commitment to community engagement as well.

Education
While there are many programs that offer opportunities and instruction to a select number of youths in Juneau, JJ&C’s greatest contribution is its effort to provide a wide variety of opportunities for as many youths as possible. Through transportation to our free lunchtime concert series, a free family concert, school assemblies that reach entire schools, and free classroom appearances, JJ&C provides a valuable arts experience to youth who might never have those same opportunities outside of school hours. Each year we rotate the variety of genres through various schools so after six years of elementary school a student would have been introduced to each genre at least once, hopefully twice. Each middle school and high school band and orchestra receives at least one in-school clinic from our artists.
