We are a music festival that builds community through adventurous musical experiences, purposeful arts education, and comprehensive community involvement with professional musicians.

Music Set

For the past 35 years, Juneau Jazz & Classics has provided high quality performances from perofessional musicans from around the country, educational concerts, instructional workshops and community engagement programs that benefit people of all ages, capabilities and economic backgrounds.

JJ&C is excited to bring the worlds of jazz, classical and blues to our Juneau community with live performances and interaction with great artists.

Now more than ever, we need the healing power of music in our homes and schools and throughout Juneau!

Donations support free lunchtime concerts, school visits by festival musicians (virtual or in person), complimentary tickets through local non-profits for those in need, intensive workshops for all abilities, and more!

Volunteers play a vital role in Juneau Jazz & Classics. We rely on the contribution of your time, energy and skills to make the Festival happen.

There’s a wide variety of opportunities for everyone—ticket taking, stage crew, social networkers, office or online work, or whatever role suits you and your particular talents.

JJ&C places high value on partnering with musicians who can teach and inspire audiences of all ages. Our artists are selected not only for their outstanding abilities as performers but for their demonstrated skills and commitment to community engagement as well.
